The
CatScan application, designed in-house by the same team who wrote
the Hardcat PC application, will allow improved asset auditing and
asset data capture. The software has been progressively refined
based on the experience of Hardcat staff in conducting hundreds of
asset audits at major organisations worldwide, and helpful
feedback from you, our clients.
New
Maintenance and Stock functions
In
an exciting new development, users of the Hardcat Maintenance
Module or Stock
Module will now have the option of handheld
maintenance and stock tracking functionality:

Maintenance
Module users will be able to download their work orders to a
Pocket PC based PDA and use CatScan to look up work order
details such as service notes, parts required, safety
instructions and other specifications, record all actions
taken, record all parts used, and then simply update the work
order back to the Hardcat database.

Stock
Module users will be able to barcode-audit available
inventories of spare parts and consumables at any given
location (allowing you to audit stock at the same time as you
audit assets).
